A few months ago Sage decided he wanted a "carnival birthday." We spent the summer brainstorming ideas and today we pulled it off. We thought of all the games they have at carnivals and then Sage made his own versions. First off, there's. . .

. . . then kettle corn, the swingset, a trip to the moon on the rocketship, a dip in the pool, hotdogs, presents, cupcakes, goodbyes, and a hectic but wonderful day.

Awesome. I love it all! He will always remember this one because of the work he did to pull it off. Maybe he'll be an event planner when he grows up.
ReplyDeleteI love the carnival theme! I might try that with my daughters' party next year. I had a question about a diaper bag you put on craftster. I'm not that good at sewing but wanted to try that, as it's adorable. But i was wondering how you wctually put it together after you sew all the outsides to the bottom and all the insides to the bottom. Please help!

That is beyond awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe had a similar kit, and I found the process hard to photograph. Even the butterflies had to be urged to open their wings and look pretty for the camera.
